Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, OH is seeking a Neuromuscular/Neurophysiology Specialist to join our outpatient Neurology service. This employed, outpatient-only role offers a balanced schedule with no overnight call, no weekend duties, and a pathway to shape your clinical mix within a fully supported neurophysiology laboratory.

The ideal candidate is board certified or eligible in Neurology, fellowship-trained in Neuromuscular Medicine/Neurophysiology or electrodiagnostic studies, and holds an Ohio

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship trained or experience in Neuromuscular Medicine, Neurophysiology or Electrodiagnostic Studies.
• Current unrestricted license or ability to obtain license to practice medicine in Ohio.
• Interested in mentorship and potential academic involvement.

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient practice focusing on Neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic (EMG/NCS) evaluations.
• No overnight call, no weekends, no inpatient rounding.
• Mon-Fri schedule supporting work-life balance.
• Fully staffed onsite neurophysiology laboratory with experienced technologists and opportunities for teaching, research, and program development.

Summa Health Medical Group is seeking a physician to join our growing Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
