Qualifications

• Experience with neurological patients and critical care in a veterinary setting.
• Ability to calculate medical math including mcg/mg and percentages.
• Comfort with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI) and monitor anesthesia.
• Assist with MRI and CT procedures as needed.
• Discharge neuro patients with client education and home care instructions.
• Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards.
• Perform call backs and refill medications.
• Greet clients, gather histories, and communicate findings to Clinician.
