BluePearl Pet Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our busy Neurology department and patient-care team.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will induce, monitor and recover anesthesia, triage emergencies, perform digital radiography, monitor vital signs, assist with CPR, manage catheters and feeding tubes, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Formación

• Experienced Veterinary Technician for neurology/critical care environments.
• Ability to induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Proficiency in radiography and patient vitals assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia and use monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergencies and obtain vitals (temp, HR, RR, BP).
• Perform digital radiography and proper patient positioning.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Identify at-risk patients and initiate CPR.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Place feeding tubes and central line catheters.
• Mentor and train other staff; provide client empathy.
