You will perform anesthesia support, MRI/CT prep, neuro patient discharge, nursing care, and client education, working with skilled veterinary professionals across specialties.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge base in veterinary care.
• Motivation to learn and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
• Calculates all medical math including mcg/mg, %/mg, etc.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Set up for MRI and CT procedures.
• Discharge neuro patients with client education and basic nursing care.
• Perform call backs and refill medications.
• Provide client education and gather histories for clinicians.
• Perform physical exams and monitor vitals (heart rate, temp, etc.).
• Understand normal vital parameters.
• Restrain patients during consults and diagnostics.
• Operate IV fluid pumps and troubleshoot errors.
