Job summary

University of California, Irvine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to independently lead day-to-day execution of neuroscience studies. You will pre-screen subjects, schedule visits, collect data, and ensure compliance with GCP/ICH and FDA regulations across multiple protocols.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work with PIs, clinicians, and research staff in a fast-paced health system setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of related work experience as a clinical research coordinator.
• Ability to work independently and in a team across multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in chart reviews, data collection, and study documentation.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP/ICH guidelines and SOPs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of assigned clinical research studies in Neurology.
• Pre-screen and recruit study subjects and conduct chart reviews.
• Schedule visits, assist testing, collect data and complete data entry per protocols.
• Maintain study information in the trial management system (OnCore) and ensure compliance.
• Communicate with IRB, FDA, sponsors and clinical teams to align enrollment goals.
