Job summary

Edward-Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurology Unit on the night shift in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with 7:00pm–7:30am shifts and every other weekend.

Requirements include an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois RN license, and AHA CPR certification. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Provides patient assessment and collection of health data.
Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions.
Communicates clearly with patients, families, and care teams in person, by phone and in writing.
Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessments.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
