Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center invites applications for Neurology Clinic Faculty positions in Lubbock. Rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor with salary determined by qualifications and experience.

The department provides state-of-the-art facilities including a Neurodiagnostic Lab, outpatient and inpatient care, and a strong commitment to teaching residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Neurology residency or fellowship completed or in progress.
• ABMS board eligible or in training to become board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Review medical histories and perform neurological exams.
• Order and interpret tests including MRI, CT, EEGs and EMGs.
• Develop treatment plans including medications, devices and injections.
• Provide patient care in outpatient, resident, and inpatient settings.
• Participate in call coverage and teach residents and medical students.
• Develop monthly lectures for training and mentoring.
