Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock invites applications for Neurology Clinic Faculty positions. You will join a diverse group of specialists delivering comprehensive care and leading a Neurodiagnostic Lab.

Rank and salary are determined by qualifications and experience. Responsibilities include patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings, order and interpret imaging and tests, and mentor medical students and residents with ongoing scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Neurology residency or fellowship completed or in progress.
• ABMS board eligible or in training.
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

• Review medical histories and perform neurological exams.
• Order and interpret tests including MRI, CT, EEGs and/or EMGs.
• Develop treatment plans including medication, implanted devices and injections.
• Provide patient care in outpatient, resident and inpatient settings.
• Participate in call coverage up to 1 week/month with residents taking first call.
• Develop monthly lectures as part of training and mentoring of medical students and residents.
