Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible neurologist to join a small, collaborative practice of 2 physicians and 1–2 nurse practitioners. A Stroke Program Directorship path is available, with a broad referral base across central/western ND, eastern MT and SD.

Academic appointment at UND is possible, with opportunities to educate medical students and residents. The position emphasizes inpatient and outpatient neurology within a Primary Plus Stroke Center framework,

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board certification or eligibility acceptable for consideration.
• Stroke care experience preferred.
• Academic appointment possible with UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
• Active inpatient involvement within last 12 months desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations related to neurological conditions.
• Provide consultative services and admissions where applicable.
• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders.
• Deliver nonsurgical care across all ages.
