Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Neurologist to diagnose and treat a broad range of neurology disorders within a Primary Stroke Center. A collaborative team approach emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered medicine.

You will join 3 Physicians and 1 APP, with outpatient hours 8am-5pm, IP consultations, and on-call 1:3 with telestroke coverage. EMG/EEG capability and multidisciplinary collaboration are integral to care; teaching opportunities with UND are available.

Qualifications

• Board certification by the American Board of Neurology or eligibility.
• Completed an accredited neurology residency program.
• Valid North Dakota medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• North Dakota DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Perform EMGs and read EEGs.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Interventional Radiology, Sleep Medicine and Pain Management.
• Teach UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences medical students, UND Family Medicine Residents and Hospital Medicine Fellows.
• Support hospital-based care with Telestroke services and stroke center operations.
