Job summary

Perlman Clinic is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with prior Neurology experience to join and help grow our Virtual Neurology program.

This is a 100% remote outpatient position serving patients throughout California. You'll work closely with our large primary care network to evaluate and manage neurologic conditions that can be appropriately treated through telemedicine.

Qualifications

• Prior Neurology clinical experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of common outpatient neurologic conditions.
• Comfortable evaluating and managing patients via telemedicine.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Able to collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage outpatient neurologic conditions via telemedicine (migraine, neuropathy, tremor, dizziness, seizures, memory concerns).
• Order and review diagnostic testing (MRI/CT, labs, EEGs, EMG/NCS).
• Develop treatment plans and provide medication management.
• Collaborate with Perlman Clinic primary care providers and specialists.
• Identify patients needing in-person exam or higher level care and coordinate referrals.
• Help develop and refine the Virtual Neurology program.

Perlman Clinic is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with prior Neurology experience to join and help grow our Virtual Neurology program.

This is a 100% remote outpatient position serving patients throughout California. You'll work closely with our large primary care network to evaluate and manage neurologic conditions that can be appropriately treated through telemedicine.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and manage common outpatient neurologic conditions via telemedicine, including migraine and headache disorders, neuropathy, tremor, dizziness/vertigo, seizure disorders, concussion, memory concerns, and other appropriate neurologic conditions
• Order and review diagnostic testing, including MRI/CT imaging, laboratory testing, EEGs, and EMG/NCS
• Develop treatment plans and provide medication management
• Collaborate closely with Perlman Clinic primary care providers and other specialists
• Identify patients who require an in-person neurologic examination, procedure, or higher level of specialty care and coordinate appropriate referral
• Help develop and refine our growing Virtual Neurology program

What We’re Looking For

• Current California PA or NP license
• Prior clinical experience in Neurology required
• Strong knowledge of common outpatient neurologic conditions
• Comfortable evaluating and managing appropriate patients through telemedicine
• Strong clinical judgment, including recognizing when an in-person neurologic examination or escalation of care is necessary
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively with primary care providers and other specialists

Salary Range: $145,000–$175,000 annually for a full-time, W-2 benefited position.
