Medical Center in eastern North Carolina has an opening for a Neurologist. They are expanding and seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist to join its growing neuroscience program in an outpatient-only position. Full practice start-up support is provided. About the opportunity

1. Opportunity available due to programmatic expansion and market demand for a neurologist in Halifax and Northampton counties.
2. Strong referral support from multiple primary care practices in the area.
3. Outpatient only with the option for inpatient care.

5. Support from an established neuroscience team at the Medical Center, a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center in Greenville, NC, including the region’s only Neuro ICU, 3 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, inpatient stroke neurologists, neurologists, neurointensivists, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Competitive compensation and benefits include: final year resident/fellow stipend, annual stipend, relocation assistance, vacation, sick leave, holidays, malpractice (with tail), 401k, 457b, medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability, and life insurance.
