Neurosurgery Physician

UNC Health / North Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine is currently seeking an experienced, skilled, passionate, and collegial Neurosurgeon to join our expanding neurosurgery team in Raleigh, NC. North Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine is part of The North Carolina Neuroscience and Spine Center.

We are committed to exploring all available treatment avenues, collaborating with a range of experts—including pain management specialists, physical therapists, and neurosurgeons—to develop comprehensive care strategies that deliver optimal outcomes.

Position Overview:

As a Neurosurgeon with North Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating complex neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including neurology, neurocritical care, oncology, and radiation oncology, to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Candidates must be ABNS board-certified or eligible. UNC Rex is a comprehensive stroke center with a robust referral network for neurovascular and cranial diseases.

The call frequency for general neurosurgery is Q4-5, covering 2 hospitals and 1 office location. The center is a comprehensive stroke center.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurological Surgery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and collegiality.
