Job summary

The responsibilities include comprehensive history taking, physical exams, ordering tests, developing treatment plans, educating patients, and participating in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina (NP, PA, etc.).
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical assessments.
• Prescribe or order evidence-based pharmacological treatments and manage follow-up.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
• Provide leadership and mentor staff; participate in system improvements.
• Document clearly in medical records and support quality initiatives.
