Ascension St. Vincent's Southside in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a motivated NP/PA to join an employed neurology practice. This outpatient role leverages a strong referral base and the resources of a major health system.

You’ll deliver comprehensive outpatient care, collaborate with three physicians, and guide diagnostic and treatment plans for complex neurological conditions. CME allowances and tail malpractice coverage support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

• Join an established team of 3 physicians
• Practice setting: outpatient
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care by assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex acute and chronic neurological conditions in close collaboration with attending physicians.
• Guide diagnostic and treatment plans by ordering and interpreting advanced diagnostic studies to build precise, individualized care strategies.
• Empower patients and families through proactive education on neurological conditions, treatment pathways and lifestyle management to support long‑term quality of life.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Florida Physician Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience preferred.
