Job summary

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• One year of clinical experience OR graduate of Medical Assistant program.
• Two years of experience in similar healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS/CPR: Current or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient records.
• Prepares patients for examination and records vitals, allergies, and visit reason.
• Keeps exam rooms clean and maintains clinical supplies; handles infection control.
• Coordinates with providers and Care Team regarding tests, discharge, and follow-ups.
• Participates in department activities and quality improvement initiatives.
