Job summary

The Toledo Clinic, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for the Adult Neurology office located in Toledo, OH. The position involves both clinical and clerical support with hours Monday through Friday, 8:00–5:00 or 9:00–5:30, at 4235 Secor Rd.

Sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered, with an additional $2,000 retention bonus after one year of service. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, preparing exam rooms, taking histories and vitals, taking patient to exam rooms, and handling

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RMA) required.
• Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school required.
• Preferred clinical medical assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for physician.
• Assist providers with patient care and maintain exam rooms.
• Prepare patient histories and vitals for physicians.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and manage supplies.
• Handle clerical duties including phones and scheduling.
