The Toledo Clinic's Nephrology Office in Toledo, OH seeks a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to support physicians and travel to nearby offices. The role requires MA credentials and a commitment to multi-site coverage.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 8:30–5:00 and Friday 8:30–4:00, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and potential $2,000 retention bonus after one year. Typical duties include patient prep, minor procedures, and clerical tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians with patient treatment and prepare patients for physicians.
• Perform various clerical duties (answering phones, scheduling, charts).
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare exam rooms.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments.
• Call in prescription refills as directed by physicians.
• Maintain exam room supplies and instruments.
• Follow up with lab work and/or xrays.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Toledo Clinic's Nephrology Office located in Toledo Ohio is seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant. This position will work in the Toledo office with travel to other offices required as needed (Perrysburg, Bowling Green, Oregon, and Wauseon). Qualified candidates will have obtained an MA Credential (RMA/CMA/CCMA). The hours are Monday - Thursday (8:30-5:00) and Fridays (8:30-4:00).

Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. If qualified, sign on bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT-A). For employees that have not yet obtained or renewed their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants may be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.

General Summary:

Assist physician(s) with patient treatment, prepares patient for physician(s), and performs various clerical duties.

Works under the supervision of the Office Manager

• Assist Drs. with patient care (i.e.: assisting with minor procedures/surgeries such as removing sutures, staples, moles, etc.).
• Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
• Escorting patients to exam room.
• Preparing exam rooms.
• Sterilizing and preparing instruments.
• At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills.
• Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.
• Follow up with lab work and/or xrays.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required:

• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant (i.e.: CMA,CCMA or RMA)
• Travel to different office locations is required.

Education:

• Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school required.

Preferred:

• Clinical medical assisting experience preferred.
