Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or MA training program certificate.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months.
• Minimum two years of experience as a MA in ambulatory practice.
• Experience in mental health and/or addiction setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, online scheduling, universal precautions, and body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Front office management, appointment scheduling, patient check-in, authorizations, billing and payment processing.
• Supply chain and forms management; back-office duties including equipment management and environmental cleaning.
