Job summary

Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS), part of Ethos Veterinary Health, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join the Neurology team in Shoreline, WA. The role emphasizes advanced medicine, anesthesia support, imaging, and compassionate patient care for complex neurological cases.

The ideal candidate has an LVT license with at least 2 years in a vet hospital, strong anesthesia skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred; 2+ years veterinary hospital experience.
• Strong anesthesia skills; MRI/CT experience a plus.
• Fluent English; collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist neurologists with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Monitor and care for patients with neurological disorders.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia; maintain records.
• Calculate and administer medications and report patient status changes.
• Assist with MRI and CT imaging procedures and radiographs.
• Perform laboratory testing (CBC diffs, urinalysis, cytology).
• Educate pet owners on treatment plans and home care.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture.
