Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Neurology Interventional and Vascular Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support in Richmond, VA. The NP will work 3 shifts of 12 hours weekly, including night shifts, in an inpatient setting with EPIC EMR and a focus on neurointerventional care.

Qualifications include Board Certification and BLS/ACLS. VA license preferred. Compensation ranges from $101.85 to $110.25 per hour, with malpractice insurance and travel/lodging arrangements provided by AMN Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• Certification from American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurovascular inpatient care for neurointerventional patients.
• Respond to code stroke and coordinate post-procedure management.
• Collaborate with inpatient teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.

This facility is seeking Neuro-Vascular Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week until per is hired.Need availability for night shifts.Shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases: Expectations include code stroke response and post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days. Temporary credentials available.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications Required: Board Certification, American Association or Nurse Practitioners, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Licensure Required:VA License preferred
