Job summary

St. Charles Health System, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient- and family-centered care across units. The CNA will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, document in the EHR, and support safety initiatives in a fast-paced hospital setting in Bend, Oregon.

The role requires Oregon CNA certification and BLS. Expect full-time day shifts with a focus on teamwork, compassion and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with Oregon State Board of Nursing is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Valid Oregon driver's license may be required for Home Health/Hospice roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain dignity and comfort.
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities to the nursing team promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Support safety and fall prevention; assist with transfers and mobility.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and use PPE appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the care team.
