Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer and EMR/scheduling software skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vitals and recording clinical data.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures; perform basic patient care tasks.
• Coordinate patient care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling; communicate test results.
