Qualifications

• LPN license and BLS certification required within 45 days unless exempted by leadership.
• MA certification or program completed or 2 years of verified MA experience within last 5 years.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required within 45 days unless exempted by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist with transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs and health histories.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver coordinated care.
