Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time role at the Milwaukee neuroscience clinic. Weekday coverage with no weekends, typically 8:00am–4:30pm, with potential off-site coverage in Oak Creek.

You will support providers, take vital signs, prepare patients, and help ensure compassionate patient experiences. The successful candidate will hold an LPN license or MA qualification with BLS certification within 45 days, and either MA program

Qualifications

LPN license (state) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days unless exempted by leader.
MA: BLS certification required within 45 days unless exempted by leader.
GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
MA: Completion of accredited MA program or 2 years verifiable full-time MA experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
