Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Director, Cell Therapy Partnerships & Strategy – Neurology to shape global site networks, drive strategic partnerships, and enable commercial readiness for cell therapies in neurology.

You will lead relationships with investigators, KOLs, and clinical sites, while coordinating across Medical, Clinical Development, Operations, and Commercial to overcome barriers to trial delivery and scale.

Qualifications

MD, PhD, or dual MD/PhD in Neurology or related field.
5+ years of experience in Neurology, cell therapy, biotechnology, or healthcare systems.
Direct experience in Neurology clinical development and trials.
Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

Own disease-area site partnership strategy across the cell therapy portfolio with Neurology as a priority.
Identify and manage strategic clinical sites globally to support cell therapy portfolio.
Lead governance and engagement for assigned strategic sites; serve as primary relationship owner for select partners.
Cultivate relationships with KOLs, KEEs, investigators, and site leaders; ensure alignment and value creation.
Coordinate across functions to align site strategies and address infrastructure, capacity, and operational barriers.
