Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Director to lead external scientific engagement and strategy for its cell therapy portfolio. You will drive partnerships with academia, experts, and strategic sites, shaping engagement plans to accelerate clinical development and generate meaningful evidence.

Qualifications

Advanced degree (BS/MS/PhD) in Life Sciences or related field.
Experience in strategy consulting, business intelligence, or scientific strategy.
Ability to synthesize external insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead external scientific engagement strategy and partnerships across the cell therapy portfolio.
Develop and manage ESPs, science committees, and advisory engagements.
Plan and execute external congress strategies (ASH, ASCO, EHA, etc.).
Coordinate cross-functional teams to set objectives, governance, and outcomes for engagements.
Track and report impact of external engagements on clinical development and portfolio strategy.
Represent AstraZeneca at scientific congresses and external events.
