Talent With Heart seeks a Neurologist – Outpatient to join a premier hospital-affiliated clinic in Mattoon, Illinois. The role focuses on outpatient care with no mandatory hospital calls, supported by an established clinic team and strong production bonuses.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology, MD/DO, and an active IL license are required. Inpatient exposure is optional, with comprehensive EMG/EEG options if preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed Neurology Residency program.
• BC/BE in Neurology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility.
• Valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with an established clinic team of two physicians and an APP.
• Maintain a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call responsibilities.
• Option to read EEGs and/or conduct EMG reads if desired.
• Inpatient coverage opportunities available if clinically interested in acute care exposure.
• Maintain thorough and timely electronic medical records.

Neurologist – Outpatient

Compensation: $475,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time | Employed | Exclusively Outpatient (Optional Inpatient Exposure Available)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois

We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Outpatient Neurologist. Located directly within the main hospital building, this role offers the perfect blend of a dedicated outpatient clinic environment, an established support team, and zero traditional hospital call burdens.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
• Partner and collaborate with an established, high-functioning clinic team currently comprised of two physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call responsibilities, restricted primarily to reviewing critical patient lab values as needed.
• Customize your practice scope based on your clinical preferences, with options to read EEGs (preferred but not required) and/or conduct EMG reads if desired.
• Take advantage of optional inpatient coverage opportunities if you have a clinical interest in maintaining acute care exposure.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters and consultations.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology
• Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
• Valid DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment and a collaborative communication style optimized for a team-based clinic model
