Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex neurological conditions by reviewing history, performing exams and ordering tests
• Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term management strategies
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments or medications as needed
• Prescribe treatments or medications best suited to improve the patient’s condition
• Order tests and interpret results to determine the best treatment options
• Keep accurate patient medical records and ensure timely billing and compliance
• Attend training and seminars to stay up to date on neurology developments
• Participate in on-call schedule in a timely manner

Capital Health Medical Group is seeking a Neurologist - Movement Disorder Specialist to join our dedicated team. Capital Health serves a diverse patient population across central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. Our two-hospital health system, with locations in urban Trenton and suburban Hopewell, provides care to patients from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. We care for a wide range of individuals, including underserved communities, urban populations, and suburban families. Opportunity Details

• Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient's history, examining them and conducting neurological tests
• Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments or medication as needed
• Prescribe treatments or medication best suited to improve the patient's condition
• Order tests and interpret results in order to determine the best treatment options
• Keep accurate patient medical records; completing all necessary documentation to allow for timely and efficient billing and claim submittal
• Attend training and seminars to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in neurology
