Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Neurologist to deliver comprehensive specialty care for brain and nerve disorders in California.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage stroke, epilepsy, dementia, Parkinson's, and related conditions while coordinating with primary care and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely access and high-quality patient outcomes. Applicants must have an MD/DO, completed neurology residency, a CA license, and board certification or eligibility within 18 months.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed Neurology residency.
• Valid California medical license; board certification within 18 months or eligibility.
• Current DEA registration and controlled substance certification.
• BLS certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese bilingual preferred depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive specialty care for disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage conditions including stroke, epilepsy, migraine, MS, Parkinson's, dementia.
• Collaborate with primary care and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely access and high-quality outcomes.
• Work with care teams to promote continuity and coordinated care.
