Job summary

NorthBay Health seeks a Board-Certified Neurologist to join the Neuroscience & Spine team in Northern California. The role combines a full-time outpatient clinic with inpatient call coverage in Solano and Napa counties.

You will diagnose complex neurological conditions, order tests, treat patients, and collaborate with physicians and APPs. An emphasis on continuing education and research is integral to the practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in neurology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in California.
• Proven experience in neurology procedures and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex neurological conditions through history, exam, and tests.
• Counsel patients and families on disorders, treatment plans, and prognosis.
• Order and interpret neurological tests, including neuroimaging.
• Prescribe and monitor treatments and medications.
• Monitor cognitive and behavioral effects of treatment.
• Coordinate supportive care services and pursue quality improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and APPs across the system.
• Stay current with advances in neurology and emerging therapies.
