AltaMed Health Services Corp. in California seeks a Neurologist to provide comprehensive specialty care for brain, spinal cord, and nerve disorders, collaborating with primary care and specialty teams to ensure timely access and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an MD/DO, Neurology residency, CA license, and board certification or eligibility within 18 months; DEA registration and a valid BLS are also required. EMR experience and bilingual abilities may be preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency in Neurology completed.
• Valid, unrestricted California medical license.
• Board certification in Neurology or board eligibility with plan to certify within 18 months.
• Current DEA registration and controlled substance certification.
• Meets AltaMed malpractice underwriting requirements.
• BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, migraine, MS, Parkinson's disease, neuropathy, and dementia.
• Collaborate with primary care, specialty, and interdisciplinary teams to promote access and high-quality patient outcomes.
• Provide comprehensive specialty care and coordinate care across the system.
