Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an energetic and collegial radiologist to join a growing neuroradiology program serving Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and affiliated clinics.

The position offers collaboration with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest radiology training programs in the U.S., with protected academic time and robust research opportunities.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO or foreign equivalent required.
  • Fellowship training in radiology preferred.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology required.
  • Unrestricted Texas medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide radiology services at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and affiliated clinics.
  • Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Collaborate on neuroradiology and neuroendovascular programs within the division.

Job description

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked the No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the No. 2 hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking an energetic and collegial Radiologist.

Division faculty provide services at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and their affiliated outpatient clinics. Faculty work with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest radiology training programs in the U.S. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.

Division, Facilities & Equipment:
  • Growing Neuroradiology practice with 20+ faculty members
  • ACGME-accredited fellowship program in neuroradiology with 6 annual spots and Texas Medical Board-accredited fellowship program in endovascular surgical neuroradiology/neuroendovascular surgery
  • Central reading rooms at Parkland Hospital and Clements University Hospital and associated outpatient clinic
  • Freestanding reading stations located throughout the hospital systems
  • Remote conferencing capabilities to allow participation in virtual resident read-out sessions, lectures, and multidisciplinary conferences
Research Collaboration:
  • Opportunities to develop research interests in collaboration with our strong radiology and non-radiology based basic science and clinical teams across the campus

The candidate must also meet the following requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
  • Fellowship trained
  • Board certification/eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
