Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care seeks a Neurology physician to join our network serving patients with post-traumatic neuro-musculoskeletal injuries. The role involves directing neurology care, coordinating neurocognitive testing, and supervising rehab services across the care continuum.

You will oversee diagnosis and treatment for motor vehicle and work-related injuries, ensuring timely documentation and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted PA license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
• Board Certified in Neurology.
• Favorable malpractice history.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Treat mild to moderate closed head injuries and post-traumatic headaches.
• Perform or oversee ImPACT testing and vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy.
• Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests and conduct diagnostics to determine injury extent and treatment.
• Provide testimony where appropriate to patients treated.
• Uphold the company’s mission and ESG goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION - $155-165 per hour

Schedule: 1-2 days per week (No weekends)

Job Duties:

• Treats mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches.
• We offer in house computerized neurocognitive testing, specifically ImPACT testing, as well as in house vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy.
• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
• We treat a high number of personal injury patients who have been injured on the job or due to the negligence of another and, therefore, the timeliness and accuracy of documentation and reports are paramount. Duties include proffering testimony on behalf of some patients treated.

Minimum Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
