Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care in the Philadelphia area seeks a Neurology physician to oversee evaluation and treatment of post-traumatic neuro-musculoskeletal injuries. The role includes managing mild to moderate head injuries and coordinating care across neurocognitive testing and vestibular therapy.

The candidate should be board-certified in Neurology with an unrestricted Pennsylvania license, favorable malpractice history, and BLS/ACLS. In-house testing and ESG-aligned care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

Responsibilities

• Treats mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches.
• We offer in house computerized neurocognitive testing, specifically ImPACT testing, as well as in house vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy.
• Oversee the patient's diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
• We treat a high number of personal injury patients who have been injured on the job or due to the negligence of another and, therefore, the timeliness and accuracy of documentation and reports are paramount. Duties include proffering testimony on behalf of some patients treated.
• Uphold the company's mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company's ESG goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION - $155-170 per hour

Minimum Requirements

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
