Job summary

PENSACOLA NEUROLOGY CENTER is seeking a Personal Trainer to lead group classes and offer optional 1:1 sessions for patients with neurological conditions. You will follow physician-approved plans and adapt exercises to diverse mobility levels in a safe, encouraging setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, functional movement, and a collaborative, physician-supervised program with a flexible part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Trainer Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with clients of varying mobility levels.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics preferred.
• First aid and CPR-certified.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead group workout classes designed for individuals with neurological movement disorders.
• Provide optional 1:1 personal training sessions.
• Follow training plans developed with physician and clinical team.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for all participants.
• Modify exercises based on individual needs and mobility levels.
• Track client progress and communicate updates to supervising physician.
