Neuroimaging Research Technician II - Neurology

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be a member of a collaborative, highly interdisciplinary Neuroimaging Research Center that includes imaging scientists and clinicians. The candidate will perform standard neuroimaging data processing and analyses, with an emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Responsibilities include managing MRI data collected for studies on children with Tourette syndrome, Parkinson's disease, and healthy older adults, in collaboration with Black lab and Campbell lab respectively.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Assist PI/Postdoc with running MRI experiments on study participants.
  2. Maintain neuroimaging data, documentation, and database.
  3. Process neuroimaging data through standard pipelines (e.g., FreeSurfer) and perform quality assurance.
Working Conditions:
  • Normal office environment.
  • Requires protective devices.
  • Sitting at a desk or table, repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Imaging research experience (1 year).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Skills in biomedical engineering, computer coding, neuroscience, and related areas.
