Job summary

Stanford University’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) seeks a Student Services Officer 2 to support neurodivergent students through direct coaching, group programs, and learning-skills workshops.

You will collaborate with CTL and VPUE teams, deliver individualized coaching to undergraduates and graduates, coordinate group sessions, and contribute to pilot projects that enhance academic success and resilience across Stanford’s diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to identify students’ academic needs and provide recommendations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to address academic difficulties and neurodivergence.
• Develop and facilitate group interventions, workshops, and asynchronous resources for neurodivergent students.
• Oversee and manage group coaching programs, including assessing needs and coordinating logistics.
• Support training and development of peer academic coaches and contribute to neurodiversity topics.
• Contribute to CTL’s neurodiversity programs, including pre-orientation and skill courses.
• Collaborate with the Office of Accessible Education and campus offices to ensure coordinated support.
• Maintain current knowledge on evidence-based approaches for neurodivergent students.
• Represent CTL at university-wide events and assist with outreach materials.
