Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform electroencephalograms, EMG/NCV tests, and ambulatory EEGs in accordance with ASEG guidelines. The role requires maintaining equipment, scheduling procedures, and handling billing and records to ensure accurate patient reports.

The candidate should have a healthcare-related Bachelor’s degree or ABRET/CAAHEP credentials, with preferred experience in EEG and ambulatory monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or ABRET/CAAHEP credential.
• Experience with EEG, EMG/NCV, and ambulatory EEG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and EMG/NCV testing per standards.
• Schedules neurodiagnostic procedures and gives clear instructions.
• Performs billing documentation and maintains departmental records.
• Maintains electrophysiological equipment and performs quality control.
• Participates in activities to improve patient care in the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
