Tidelands Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist (NDT) to perform EEG, EMG, and related neurodiagnostic tests under physician guidance. You will collect clinical data, explain procedures to patients, and ensure high-quality test results.

Ideal candidates have an END-focused education, ABRET-related credentials, and at least two years of NDT experience. This role requires collaboration with physicians and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma; an ABRET-endorsed program is preferred.
• Associate degree in electro-neurodiagnostic technology is preferred.
• Certification in Neurodiagnostic Technology (ABRET) preferred.
• Proven ability to work with diverse healthcare teams.

Responsabilidades

• Summarize technical data to assist physicians in diagnosing nervous system disorders.
• Perform tests such as EEG, PSG, NCS, and EMG with accurate reporting.
• Measure patient body parts and identify electrode locations.
• Attach electrodes to patients using appropriate methods.
• Adjust equipment to optimize imaging of the nervous system.
• Collect patient information and explain procedures to patients.
• Measure evoked potentials to assess responses to stimuli.
• Identify artifacts or interferences on neurodiagnostic recordings.
• Set up, program, or record montages for various nervous system tests.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, or repair equipment as needed.
• Contribute to training of technicians and staff.
