The role requires strong attention to detail, good patient communication, and the ability to work nights. You will train staff, maintain equipment, and document findings for physicians. A high school diploma with neurodiagnostic training and certification is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years hospital neurodiagnostics experience, or equivalent.
• Certification in EEG/EMG/IOM within 3 years after ABRET eligibility.
• BLS certification within six months after hire.
• Direct neurodiagnostic (EEG) experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a PC and basic department software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, escort to testing room, and explain procedures.
• Conduct EEGs and other neurological tests (evoked potentials, IOM, EMG).
• Operate recording equipment and monitor tracings.
• Prepare written reports and enter data into the system.
• Maintain testing area in clean, orderly condition; assist with maintenance.
• Provide on-the-job training to new neurodiagnostic staff.
