Job summary

Bronson Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist on a PRN, days schedule to support Kalamazoo and Battle Creek locations.

You will perform electroencephalograms and other neurological tests, monitor patients, apply electrodes, and assist with data recording and reporting under supervision.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with related experience and neurodiagnostic certification in EEG, EMG, or IOM within 3 years, with strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years hospital-based neurodiagnostics experience or equivalent.
• Certification in EEG, EMG, or IOM within 3 years of eligibility requirements.
• BLS required within six months after hire.
• Direct neurodiagnostic (EEG) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and escorts them to testing room, explains procedures.
• Conducts EEGs and other neurodiagnostic tests (evoked potentials, IOM, EMG, EOG, long-term monitoring).
• Applies electrodes to scalp and body; records brain activity and other measurements.
• Operates recording equipment and monitors patient responses during testing.
• Maintains testing area and documents results in the patient record.
