Renown Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician II to perform advanced brain and peripheral nerve testing, including EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, evoked potentials, and NCS/EMGs, following ABRET and ACNS standards. You will prepare, record, and assist with data interpretation to support physician diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Boarded in ABRET registry (R. EEG T) -or- AAET registry (R. NCS. T) / ABRM Certification (C. NCS T) required.
• Two years of recent high-level Neurodiagnostic experience is required, three years of experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ABRET/AAET/ABEM credentials at time of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association CPR certification required at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex Neurodiagnostic procedures of the brain, somatosensory system, and related structures, including Standard EEGs, LTM, CVEEG within the EMU, 24/48/72-hour ambulatory EEGs, Evoked Potentials, and NCS/EMGs.
• Review electrographic recordings for identification, technique, and completeness per ABRET accreditation standards and lab policy.
• Acquire skills to perform new neurodiagnostic studies as added to the service line; participate in training and education for staff and students.
• Schedule patients according to departmental policies and ensure safe, accurate testing and patient comfort.
