Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech to perform standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic tests in the Clinical Neurophysiology Lab and polysomnographic testing in the Sleep Disorders Lab. Work may be in the lab, clinic, bedside, or operating room.

Must have an AMA/CAAHEP accredited Sleep or Neurodiagnostics program and hold licensure in EEG/EP/Polysomnography (RST, CNIM, NCV). Per diem and full-time positions available with competitive incentives and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA or CAAHEP accredited Sleep or Neurodiagnostics program (or equivalent experience).
• Licensure/Certification in EEG, EP, Polysomnography, Intra-Operative Monitoring (CNIM), Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV), or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST).
• Experience requirements vary by level: Tech II/III depending on program completion or years of Sleep/Neurodiagnostics experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic tests in the Clinical Neurophysiology Lab and polysomnographic testing in the Sleep Disorders Lab.
• Work may be performed in a lab, clinic, patient bedside, or in the operating room.
