Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs EEG, EP, EMU, and/or NCS testing.
• Explains testing procedures to patient and family using age-appropriate guidelines.
• Captures pertinent history from patient or chart.
• Enters demographics and study information into the system.
• Operates equipment, observes artifacts, distinguishes normal from abnormal.
• Reports suspected abnormalities to nurse or physician as appropriate.
• Assists with evolving patient care needs and safety.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and study archive.
