Job summary

St. Luke’s in Boise, Idaho seeks a dedicated EEG Technologist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform electrode setup and application for electrophysiological monitoring according to ABRET standards and conduct EEG studies independently.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Neurodiagnostic program preferred, 3 years of experience, and current R EEG T with BLS certification. We offer a robust benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

  • Performs set-up and application of electrodes for electrophysiological monitoring according to ABRET standards.
  • Performs all modalities of EEG independently and provides findings and descriptive analysis.
  • Assists in developing and delivering continuing education for staff with management.
  • Oversee and participate in orientation and training of new staff.
  • Serves as a role model and mentor for neurodiagnostic technologists.

Job description

  • Full Time with benefits
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Performs set-up and application of electrodes for electrophysiological monitoring according to ABRET standards.
  • Performs all modalities of EEG independently and provides findings, results, and a descriptive analysis according to the facility policy and procedures
  • Assists in developing and delivering continuing education for staff in collaboration with management.
  • Serves as a role model, resource and mentor for neurodiagnostic technologists
  • Oversee and participate in the orientation and training of new staff

Qualifications:

  • Education: HSD or equivalent, completion of Neurodiagnostic Program preferred
  • Experience: 3 years relevant experience
  • License/Certification: Current registered EEG Technologist (R EEG T) and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
