Job summary

UNC Health's Sleep Disorders Center in Chapel Hill is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist I to perform polysomnographic and neurodiagnostic testing under supervision, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Graduates of neurophysiology programs are eligible for registry; the role is onsite with night shifts, 36 hours per week, and includes a $10,000 commitment incentive paid over three years. This position supports clinical excellence and team growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an acceptable program of Neurophysiology.
• Registry eligible for Registered Sleep Technologist (RST).
• No prior experience required if completion of acceptable program in neurophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic patient testing: polysomnographic testing with possible oxygen therapy and CPAP under supervision.
• Set-up and placement of room and equipment; calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Reads and scores neurodiagnostic and polysomnographic tests under supervision.
