Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center in Utah is seeking an EEG Technician (PRN) to join its inpatient/outpatient neurodiagnostic team. You will perform EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, telephone EEG transmissions and sleep latency tests, recording brain activity to help diagnose epilepsy and related conditions.

This role requires basic life support within 30 days of hire and involves some clerical duties; you will contribute to CQI initiatives and support safe, compassionate patient care in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Ability to perform EEGs, ambulatory EEGs and sleep EEG testing.
• Record electrical activity of the brain to aid in epilepsy assessment.
• Support Polysomnology testing including sleep studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality electro-neurodiagnostic test services for inpatients and outpatients.
• Perform EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, telephone EEG transmissions and sleep latency EEGs.
• Record brain activity to study epilepsy and localize lesions in the cerebrum.
• Perform Polysomnology testing including BIPAP/CPAP trials.
• Participate in clerical duties and CQI improvement activities.
