Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking an EEG Technician to join a team dedicated to serving patients with neurological needs. You will perform EEGs and related studies for inpatients and outpatients, from neonates to adults, under physician orders.

You will also conduct polysomnology testing and contribute to performance improvement efforts while handling routine clerical duties. The role supports a compassionate care mission and teamwork in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Provide quality electro-neurodiagnostic test services for inpatients and outpatients, neonate to adult, as ordered by a physician.
• Record electrical activity of the brain to study epilepsy and locate lesions in the cerebrum.
• Perform polysomnology testing including BIPAP/CPAP trials.
• Participate in clerical duties and CQI improvement activities.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an EEG Technician at our facility you will be will be joining a team that is dedicated to serving others in need and also supporting one another. In this important role:

• You will be responsible for providing quality electro-neurodiagnostic test services to inpatients and outpatients, neonate to adult, as ordered by a physician.
• You will perform EEG’s, ambulatory EEG’s, telephone transmission EEG’s, and multiple sleep latency EEG’s. .
• You will be responsible for recording electrical activity of the patient’s brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders, and localizing lesions in the cerebrum.
• You will perform Polysomnology testing including BIPAP/CPAP trials.
• You will perform various clerical duties. You will participate in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
