Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Care Partner to join our team on the Night shift. The role supports patient safety and independence during hospitalization while observing EEG activity to detect seizures and deviations. Full-time nights with a schedule of Thursday–Saturday, 5:00pm–5:30am.

BLS within 90 days of hire and a high school diploma are required. Preferred candidates include those with acute care experience or enrollment in a health sciences

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in acute care or enrollment in a health sciences program preferred.
• Current student in an EEG program or medical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with a safe hospital environment to support patient care and independence during the stay.
• Observes and monitors EEG video to detect seizures or deviations and assists the neurodiagnostic team as needed.
• Supports daily operations of the neurodiagnostic area and contributes to patient safety and care.
